Q1: Under Tower Building it is written as "This event has a written test on the possible topics of bridge building techniques, parts, and related vocabulary. " is the sentence correct about bridge building or parts? Does parts means materials?

A1: This is a misprint in the rules. If the teams are given a diagram of a tower, they should be able to label the generic name for the parts of the tower. Towers are made of many different materials, but they should not be asked about what materials make the best towers. But may have to describe the difference in types of towers.
