Solar Powered Racer
Trial Event: The team will create a solar powered racer from a provided kit. Once created the team will try to be the fastest racer down the track using the light of a flashlight. This event has a written test on basic solar energy vocabulary and concepts.

Clarifications

This event is a trial event. Trials are events that the rules committee discussed but want to test them to see if we can modify them for Division A. They are a great filler of time. Students will not earn awards for this event and this event may not take 45 minutes.
