3rd Grade: Truss Bridge

Teams will design and construct a truss bridge that spans a 30.0 cm gap between two supports. The bridge will be tested by supporting a 300 g mass and, if successful, a 500 g mass for 30 seconds each. Teams will also complete a written assessment covering bridge types, structural design, and forces acting within bridges.
