Updated Description: Teams will design and construct a bungee cord system to drop a weight from a designated height with a goal of getting as close to an artificial horizon as possible, without passing below it. Teams will also answer questions on a written assessment on the principles of the law of conservation of energy, elastic potential energy, gravitational potential energy, and kinetic energy.
