Teams will construct a device prior to the tournament designed to collect heat and complete a written test on thermodynamic concepts.

Section 6.h: If a team has any CONSTRUCTION violations at the end of their Setup Time, their TS and PS values will be multiplied by 0.7 per violation when calculating the scores. Missing impound will count as an additional construction violation.
