Teams will read a set of engineering drawings and collaborate to CAD parts in Onshape and then incorporate these parts with provided components to create an assembly.

Add Section 4.f: Parts are only scorable if a material is assigned to them. Without an assigned material, Onshape determines a part’s mass as zero, and their score will therefore evaluate to zero per rules 4.c. and 4.d.

Each competitor must bring a writing utensil as well as a laptop capable of connecting to the venue wifi and running Onshape. It is strongly recommended, but not required, to bring a mouse and trackpad. Competitors are also permitted to bring laptop power cables, though outlets may not be available.
Each competitor must have their own Onshape education account. Any other type of account will not function correctly during the competition. Competitors must provide the email associated with their account to the Event Supervisor at the beginning of the competition period. Competitor emails will be deleted at the conclusion of the competition.
