Section 5.II.e: Teams will be given 4 minutes of Device Test Time, minus any overage time from Setup, to calculate their mass ratios. The Device Test Time begins immediately after the end of Setup Time and ends when the team either submits their ratios or when the 4 minutes are up, whichever comes first. If the team has not completed their setup during the Setup Time, the team may continue setup during their Device Test Time, but that time is still counted in their Time Score. Teams must not touch the test masses until handed them by the Event Supervisor. Test masses must not be handed to teams until their device is brought into specification.
Section 6.c: Time Score (TS) = ((240 - team’s part II Device Test Time in seconds) / 240) x 15 points

Scheduling & Impound: At all VASO tournaments, the lever devices must be impounded. Additionally, the testing of the lever device will not be done during the written test session, but instead will be performed separately at a self-scheduled time.
